Cheese and crackers this took too damn long. The drawing part I honestly could have probably finished within an hour, but I decided to string it along a few days. The coloring, though, was done all in one sitting, and took me, I can't recall, maybe four or five hours.

Where's the reasoning in that, eh?

Anywho, this is my entry into :iconwakerdre: 's Tournemant "Winter Brawl". It's cool and, as a plus, it is SDL-sanctioned!

For now I'm just gonna use my SDL profile [ [link] ] as a reference. A more in-depth one will likely come some time later. Right now I'm tired.

Great job odd-hunter, that coloring job is amazing. As a quick question what tools and/or techniques did you use to color this?

Tools, I just used Corel PAinter Essentials 2. It's just like a little demo program that came with my Wacom tablet. It was colored almost entirely with the Tint tool, and a lot of the eraser for that "fade"y effect.

To be honest, that's about it. I don't have a lot of tricks up my sleeve.

Yeah, I've actually noticed a slight similarity, mostly in Neej honestly believing his coat is alive and is talking to him, though really, just like in JTHM, the coat is just another extension of his mind and doesn't know any more than he does.

I need to think of a name for that sucker...
